GENGHIS LINYANTI SAVUTI MOREMI
|
Often a smell or sound can
take a person back to the fondest of memories. Savuti has the same effect:
his wild look and rosetted coat spirals you from mundane existence to the
primal fears and excitement of deepest and darkest Africa! The Bengal wraps the affectionate temperament of a domestic cat in the extravagantly rosetted coat of a fierce leopard. It is the product of a breeding program that crossed the Asian leopard cat with shorthair domestics, such as the Egyptian Mau. The Asian leopard cat is found in southeast Asia, and roams as far north as Siberia. The influence of domestic breeds has tempered the shy and solitary nature of the wild animal, which has resulted in a gentle and affectionate facsimile of its savage cousin. Savuti's exotic look is matched only by his gentle disposition. While he does not particularly like to be picked up, he remains very affectionate and is always nearby. He loves a good head-rub, although - with him - its more like a head-bump! He never plays with claws extended, and is a very vocal boy - a range of tonal inflections communicating a variety of messages. Linyanti is very fond of her brother, who reciprocates with patient grooming, while Moremi sharpens his reflexes with precision-timed play-attacks. Savuti also finds time to express his affection for canine family members by attempting to climb into Genghis' ear, or rubbing cheeks with Isus. |
